On June the 2nd, SoPact together with ProLab, Impact Invest Scandinavia and Team Uniti hosted a one-day public event during Skåne Innovation Week.

Impact Invest Scandinavia,  the first Nordic network for impact investment, organized a lunch seminar. The audience got an introduction to the impact investement concept by investors and entrepeneurs themselves experienced investing in a social oriented business.

SoPact started the afternoon with an innovation speed dating followed by a pitch competition: One-minute pitch in front of a panel of professionals with a chance to win a 1000 kr!

All of our SoPacters got the chance to pitch, and other great social ideas from the audience were presented during the competition. After some time reflecting, the panel made Jeremy the winner of the pitch competition. Our SoPacter is one of the founders of weAdventure – a marketplace which allows instructors and guides to sell outdoor adventures online, with a focus on empowering people in developing countries.

And this great day ended with an ECO BBQ by Team Uniti, building en open source electric city car.
On the menu: Houmous, halloumi, taboulé, tzatziki, tiramisu etc… Our cook Flavia found the best vegan recipes to make everyone happy !
