After review of applications, emails, phone calls, and interviews, the SoPact team have selected nine passionate startups to be part of the second batch of the Social Impact accelerator! A group of people growing ideas that really matter.
We truly believe that, once again, we have found a great group of people that will grow and help each other during and after the program. We are very proud to see these nine ventures onboard and we couldn’t be more excited to get to know them and see their progress and impact the upcoming months.

Inga Ingenjör (Inga Engineer) works towards a broader recruitment for technical universities, long term. The first childrens book about Inga Ingenjör was published in August 2015, Inga och Leo löser allt. The target group is children aged 5-9 and their families, teachers and librarians.
Stella Robotics develops a digital communication platform for relatives and caregivers in contact with elderly people.
Cube focus on European youth participation. They provide a digital educational toolkit to organize workshops, gather policy ideas, function as a platform for European youth organizations and lobby for the voice of young Europeans.
Gepant gives individuals and organizations an opportunity to make money and donors get rid of their cans and bottles, while at the same time contributing to a more environmentally friendly Sweden.
Endless identifies solar energy projects in Brazil, and turn them into business opportunities for investors in Northern Europe.
Ento Foder grows insects on food waste and biogas waste into a sustainable animal feeding and fertiliser. They create a circular system that takes care of waste, turns it into protein, and goes back to your grocery bag through farm-grown salmon or chicken.
Flyttahus is working on reaching a compromise between building new houses and preserving old once. They move demolition threatened houses to new locations where they can be reused by new owners. The houses are then reused to 100 %, instead of a lot less being demolished.
Malmö Sustainabilty Center is a modern knowledge and experience center for everyone. The center will open the fall of 2016 at the Triangel shopping mall. Malmö Sustainability Center is a social innovation. Here the industry, the public sector, academia, and non-profit organizations can work together in connection with the public. The center is a dynamic and creative place to meet for the sustainabilty work of Sweden.
Pitupi stands for “people to people” and is out to make transparency the norm within the fashion industry. They design and create organic clothing for baby and kids, producing in their workshop in northern Albania. Customers get to know the seamstress behind each garment and can read about the origins and cost of each material they use on their website.
