Starting at the base of every societal startup. What problem are you trying to solve?
We want to make it possible for people to have solar power at a price cheaper than the utility.

How are you going to solve this? What is your idea?
Through our partners in Brazil we identify attractive solar energy projects, make them financeable, and offer them as business opportunities to investors in northern Europe.
We can offer cost reduction for off-takers in Brazil and interesting returns for northern European investors.

What impact do you hope to have?
We expect to have made possible the installation of 20 MW by 2020. The carbon footprint per unit of solar energy production is up to 95% lower than that of fossil fuel power plants.

Why did you become societal entrepreneurs? Or really, why do you do what you do?
Energy is a fundamental need and it is the cause of large impacts on the environment. We want to make it more accessible for people to use solar energy because of its environmental performance. We believe in a more sustainable, democratic and resilient energy economy.

If you had one advice to give to other social entrepreneurs, what would it be?
There are many opportunities within social entrepreneurship. The world needs something that is more than another dating site or social media. If you have a good idea try to team up with someone that shares the goal with you. It is easier with a partner.

If I as a reader want to engage or help you reach your goals of impact. How can I do so? Is there any way to help at this stage?
Yes, we are willing to talk to all those interested in our business. Drop us a line!
