It is Emelie Dahlström who is the latest addition to the SoPact team in her role as Program Manager with responsibility of developing the collaboration between the accelerator program’s social entrepreneurs, Helsingborgs Stad and researchers at the School of Social Work at Campus Helsingborg.

In connection to the start of the fourth batch of the SoPact Accelerator Program Emelie Dahlström starts as Program Manager. Emelie comes immediately from Kodcentrum, a nonprofit organization which works to introduce children to programming and digital creation, without cost. As secretary-general she has built up a national organization from scratch in close collaboration with partners as Spotify, Microsoft, Sigma, Informator Utbildning, Vinnova and Stockholms Stad.

Emelie has a background in international development cooperation and has worked in the borderland between the nonprofit sector and the business sector, among other as project leader at Svenska PostkodStiftelsen. As one of the co-founders of Sweden’s first clothing library Lånegardeoben, she has a special interest for circular economy.

SoPact is a very interesting collaboration project which aims to support entrepreneurs and organizations which are contributing with solutions to local and global societal challenges. Returning to my home region, I look forward to continuing to work with my big passions: social entrepreneurship, meeting people and societal development in a dynamic and progressive region, says Emelie Dahlström.
